When you have arrived, it's easy to move around the compact city, by public transport or on foot.
From the airport to the city center
The airport train station is located below the terminal (basement level-1). Keep your train ticket to hand upon arrival at Brussels Airport. You will need to scan it at the automated access gates.

Taxis with a taximeter are permanently available in front of the arrivals hall. The fare from the airport to the city centre of Brussels is normally around € 45 in 20 minutes approximately but depending on traffic.
Licensed taxis can be recognized by the blue and yellow emblem. Travellers are advised to avoid unlicensed taxis!
The bus station is located on level 0 - one floor down from the arrivals hall - and can be easily reached by using the escalators or elevators.
Centrally located at the bus station there are three platforms each with their specific use.
